A Study of Big Hair Southern Women in Their Natural Habitat

So, Blake and I go through Augusta every few weeks, and we were there last weekend. We stopped on the way home from Columbia, SC so that we could have dinner. We decided on Carrabba's becuase we were celebrating, but as soon as we sat in the lobby I started to notice something very... weird. As we were sitting there we noticed that every other woman in the restaurant had very poofy hair. I am talking, huge hair. I think that the town of Augusta is keeping the Bump-It in business. The other thing I found myself wondering was "How much hairspray do they use? I am surprised that there is not a hole in the o-zone above the city of Augusta from all of the hairspray." It was so weird. I always considered hair this big a rare specimen, and yet here they were all in one place, and thew were all ages from 13 to 70. I counted at least 15 of them. It was like some kind of big hair convention. I thought maybe they were all in the same group, but no. They were spread throughout all of the tables within the restaurant. It was like entering the twilight zone. It was so weird. I thought that we were stopping for dinner, but it was actually dinner and a show. I wish that I had taken pictures. I am determined to find out if the Big Hair is common to Augusta or Carrabba's. Wish me luck as I continue to study these rare specimens in their element.
