It's been a while!

So I guess I need to get a little better at posting on this thing. So I am writing as she is taking her morning nap, since I can really only get things done when she is sleeping. lol. She just turned 5 months yesterday, and she is just the best. She has her fussy days, but overall she is the greatest baby in the world. She is super cute, really happy, vocal, and trying out new foods. She loves sweet potatoes more than anything (so she is daddy's girl) and she loves apples in her oatmeal (but then, who doesn't?) The down side to trying new foods......peanut butter poop. eeeeew! it's stinky nasty, especially with the cloth diapers, but we are still holding in there. She is definitely our child, because she is such an odd bird. All of the things that you think would scare her just make her laugh! She loves to yell at the tv, and reach for things, and occasionally sit by herself. She is in love with the theme song to the backyardigans, and so we often play it when she is throwing a hissy fit. She super hates tummy time still (we will have to be better about this with our next kid.)She is getting so long.sigh. I still love to dress her up, and I don't know if that will ever end. She is so blessed and loved by heavenly father. Sometimes I am amazed at how lucky we were to get her. We love her so much. She has made me a better person. Being her mother makes me feel so much more complete (is it possible to be more complete?), and gives me the confidence to be the person that I want to be so that I can be the mother that I want to be. I love Blake so much, I am so in love with him, and I feel like we fall in love over and over again on a constant basis (although it requires a little work and planning to spend time together now!) And we both love our daughter, and look forward to nurturing and growing this family. We really are happy. and now I am done with all of the sappy love stuff. I just wanted everyone to know.
