Mountain Range Laundry

It seems that the craziness is stockpiled around here. It's like on "As Good As It Gets" ......"Go sell your crazy somewhere else, we're all stocked up here." or maybe like on "Zoolander"..... "I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!!" Either way it is a zoo at our house. We had Isabella's birthday, went out of town, had her year appt, went to a huge consignment sale, fed the missionaries, prepare lessons, register Blake for classes, and I have a talk to prepare for church on sunday. This has been our schedule after we have opted out of things, and not counting the nights in with friends. What is the result of all this madness you might ask.... Well let me tell you. Our house has become a beautiful mess. It is a compilation of things yet to be unpacked, art waiting to be hung, an unending stream of dishes that are never fully done, and laundry piles the size of a small mountain range forming in our dining room!! I miss sanity, and at this point I even miss routine. I know that I wanted more spontaneity in our lives, but I think I have a little too much of a good thing. I need a chance to stop and smell the roses, and a chance to create a little peace and serenity in our home. I sound ungrateful, and I am not. I love the craziness, I thrive in it and even revel in it at times, but every once in a while I just need a rest. whew!! There are so many great projects that I want to dive into, but they must all wait until we get our house in order.
