Plant Based Eating...The New Blog

I just thought I would share a little adventure that my family is starting on. We are going towards a plant based eating diet. I guess that you could say that we are going vegan, but it is more than that. We are cutting out milk, dairy products, and meat. But, we are also adding back in things that should have been there all along before. We are eating an abundance of vegetables, fruit, grains, and all the greatest things that mother nature has to offer. My major goal is for 5% or less of our diet to contain meat or dairy products. We are thinking that we will have at least one meal a week for now that has meat or dairy in it. It may seem like an odd concept, but I have already been feeling the benefits.
