Baby Mania

So we are finally telling everyone that we are having a baby! We are so excited that it is ridiculous. I am 12 weeks and 3 days pregnant today. I am just starting to get over the nausea and get a little of my energy back. whew, this first trimester stuff is for the birds. I felt so sick all of the time. grrrr. I am so glad that is over (mostly.) We found out that we were pregnant the saturday after thanksgiving. I was sooo excited. The first person I told was Blake, and then Heather. We told Blake's family at christmas. It was awesome. The baby is due on August 2nd of this year, so basically i get to be pregnant through the summer. argh. But i know that it is worth it. We have already had our first ultrasound, and it was awesome. Up until the ultrasound it just felt like i had some kind of parasite that made me feel tired and sick. Then I got to see the little baby. It felt so surreal, and then it moved. It is at that moment that it dawned on me that there is actually a person living inside of me. how weird is that? I am so excited, and I can not wait to find out the sex. Of course I am going to find out the sex. When people ask I think that they are crazy. I have to know! First of all it is my first baby and i want to have a themed shower and such, and secondly i am an absolute control freak and have to know. It would kill me to not know. oh well. that is my say for now. we have another doctor's appointment next week. I will let you know more.
