Wow, I am so glad that I still have time to get all of that stuff. We do have some of it, and we have a lot of safety stuff for the house.
You're right. Babies do need lots of things, but at least you won't need them all at once. A few things, we've never used, or considered getting: sterilizer, bottle warmer, wipe warmer, etc.
ReplyDeleteHigh chairs and gates will come later. Oh, and the hospital gave us a thermometer. It's not the fanciest thing, but we haven't had to buy one yet.
hmm...yeah, the list goes on and on...
I agree with emuli, I bottle fed both of my kids and we did not use the sterilizer - we bought a munchkin basket and the dishwasher did the sterilizing :) we also let the microwave do the warming. Wipewarmer are nice to have just a matter of preference. High chairs and gates and safety stuff will come later. ( around 1 when they start walking ) but it is definately like having a new person moving in with you because that is what is happening. A new person is moving in with you. :) It just happens to be the best ever roomate! That you can kiss and cuddle and hug. So excited for you guys. Babies are so little but yes they need a lot of stuff.
