So, as part of our trip we also went to the Zoo one day. Blake and I had been to the zoo together once when we were dating, but we had not been back since. It was a little cloudy the day we went, and chilly but not cold. Needless to say, most of the animals were sleeping, or hiding, but we still had a great time. We even learned how to get to the close parking lot this time. Wahoo!
Some of the highlights included....
Watching the elephant and trainer, anything monkey related, and yes, Blake actually got me to go into the reptile house. ewwwww! We went to the petting zoo, and there I pet a sheep and goat, and such. It reminded me of our honeymoon, when we went to a petting zoo in one of the Disney parks together. Ahhh. Sweet memories. All in all, a great day!
