I knew that laundry was hazardous to my health.

So I was doing laundry again today. I was on my last pile of whites when something super icky happened. I looked in the washer and started adding my detergent as it filled with water. Normal, nothing unusual there. Then I went and picked up the laundry in big armfuls and carried it against my chest to the washer. I dumped the clothes in and then I saw it. In the loads of white that I had just carried was a massive spider!!!! I mean ginormous. It was literally as big as the palm of my hand and there it was hanging out with my whites in the washer. I flipped. I didn't know what else to do so I slammed the washer door shut (I am sure that there was some screaming too). I can not believe that I just carried that monster across the room. ewwwwww. I am so freaked out. So at this moment the spider is in the washer machine getting washed with the whites and I have barricaded the laundry room door with a blanket in hopes that even if it does be some miracle survive the spin cycle, and escape the washer, that it will at least stay in the laundry room. I can guarantee that I will not be opening that door until Blake comes home....yikes! It is amazing how an insect can suddenly make it feel like you are not safe in your own home. argh. I was so worried that Isabella could have been bitten. sheesh. no more bugs!!! So now, we will have to come have the pest control guy spray.

On a little bit of a different note, what happens when you wash a spider the size of a lapdog with your whites? Will they have stuff on them? I guess I will soon be able to tell you the answer to this question. Stay tuned.
