So Ready for the Holidays

So I am stoked about the holidays, and all I want to do is craft, and take walks in cool afternoons, drink cider, bake goodies, and dress up. Sigh, I can not wait to pull out my favorite part of my wardrobe. I have an unhealthy obsession with all things sweater. I love to wear them, in fact I probably have way to many, but they make me happy. I really should live in a cooler climate, so that I could wear them more often, but I love Georgia, so what can I do?

I am obsessed with the idea of an outfit for Isabella for Christmas with a gingerbread girl on it. I am thinking of making it myself. hmmm, we shall see. My obsession with pinterest has led me to believe that I am far more capable of being crafty than I already am. I am so curious to try new things. So far I have crafted the beginning of a few christmas gifts, a baby dedication gift, and bought fabric for a rug for the living room, and coordinating fabric for pillows. sheesh, that feels like a lot, but I want more. I crave this time of year and the creativity that the holidays allows. I am going to savor it this year, and I can not wait to see what Isabella thinks of everything.

Speaking of little bit, she is growing leaps and bounds lately. She has become so smart. She walks, toddles and tries to run everywhere. She loves to dance, and clap and bounce. She has started putting shapes in the block that nana got her (she loves getting things out. right now she is pulling out my plastic cookie cutters from their box.) and she puts lids on things. I love watching her learn new things, but how do you have a Christmas tree with little ones? I have a feeling that she would pull everything off that she could reach, and then pull over the whole tree trying to get to the ornaments that she couldn't reach. lol. She is quite stubborn. Hopefully we can work it out. So here come the holidays and I say "Bring it on!"
